Smart Chicks Rock!

And smart chicks (and dudes) going to college through Linkage to Education rock even more.

Here it is...

The idea for this silly announcement is that there is a tendency for foster and probation youth who are trying to go to college to isolate themselves, feel out of place, feel like outcasts, and view your past in terms of "no one will understand."

Well, we do. We also have a network of Linkage youth to plug into to offset the kind of head games that work against your desired goals. You’re part of a community; you’re part of something bigger. You’re important -- and grades, both present and past, do not tell the whole story of who you are.

The form of your experience may be unique, but you are connected to others by the content of the experience you share. We have ways and methods for you to comfortably ease your way into this network of students -- or you can stay on the sidelines and participate when you’re ready.
